Recently, the non-ferrous metal recycling industry has witnessed the implementation of mature processes, with the large-scale popularization of aluminum strand resource utilization technology. It is understood that common aluminum materials such as overhead aluminum strands and cable aluminum cores, can be transformed into pure molten aluminum through high-temperature smelting. After refining, casting, and forming through standardized processes, they are reprocessed into aluminum ingots, industrial aluminum ingots, and precision aluminum die castings.

Aluminum strands are characterized by high purity, low impurities, and excellent ductility, making them a high-quality raw material. The aluminum strand recycling and smelting process is mature and highly controllable. The high-quality molten aluminum after refining and purification can be processed into three types of core finished products according to market demand and production planning, adapting to different industrial scenarios with high flexibility. In addition, aluminum materials recycled from aluminum strands are also a high-quality deoxidizer used in steelmaking, playing an indispensable role in steel smelting processes and broadening the application range of aluminum strands.

Firstly, casting into industrial aluminum ingots. Purified molten aluminum is injected into standard molds using a gravity casting process. After natural cooling, crystallization, and demolding, it forms regular, nationally standardized aluminum ingots. These recycled aluminum ingots have a stable composition and meet purity standards, serving as the basic raw material for Aluminum Extrusion, rolling, and deep processing, and are widely used in hardware manufacturing, building materials, and general machinery.

Secondly, Aluminum Rods are produced through continuous casting. Using a continuous casting process, molten aluminum is continuously cast into shape using the combined effects of gravity and electromagnetic force. Precise temperature control and cooling in a crystallizer produce solid aluminum rods. These rods do not require secondary melting and can be directly used for extrusion and forging, suitable for the production of profiles, pipes, and precision mechanical parts, offering higher processing efficiency and meeting the needs of large-scale assembly line production.

Thirdly, aluminum die casting is produced using high-pressure die casting. Refined molten aluminum is fed into die casting equipment and injected into a precision mold cavity under high pressure and high speed, rapidly cooling and solidifying to directly produce various aluminum die castings. This process can produce complex, high-precision, irregularly shaped parts, covering high-end industrial products such as automotive components, electronic appliance housings, hardware accessories, and new energy equipment components. The finished products exhibit good density and stable mechanical strength, meeting precision manufacturing industry standards.

In the steelmaking process, aluminum is an excellent deoxidizing material. The aluminum material obtained through the recycling and purification of waste aluminum strands has a higH Aluminum content and controllable impurities, fully meeting the deoxidation process standards of steel mills. During steelmaking, the recycled aluminum product is added to the molten steel. The aluminum element reacts with the oxygen in the molten steel, quickly removing free oxygen and oxides, effectively preventing quality defects such as bubbles, porosity, and slag inclusions in the steel, and significantly improving the density, toughness, and overall quality of the steel. Compared to traditional primary aluminum deoxidizers, deoxidized aluminum materials made from recycled aluminum strand offer better cost-effectiveness and a more stable supply, making them suitable for large-scale steelmaking production in large, medium, and small steel mills. They are currently the preferred auxiliary material for cost reduction, quality improvement, and green production in the steel industry.

With the continuous iteration of recycled metal processing technology, the processing precision and finished product qualification rate of recycled aluminum stranded wire are constantly improving.
